Klaus F. Jaenecke, with his profound industry knowledge in the areas of construction, sanitary and building trades, mechanical engineering and medical technology, textiles and internet-based services, commands diverse abilities in corporate strategy, development and planning, as well as their corresponding financial and risk management. Professional Training

From 1980 to 1984 in Mexico City: first professional experiences as an Investment Manager and Controller with Desarrollo y Planeación 2000 S.A., a private industrial holding group active in all of Latin America and specialising in joint ventures with European companies.
From 1984 to 1991: professionalization in the international corporate finance sector with concentration on Mergers & Acquisitions; from 1984 to 1986: Manager with Kleinwort Benson in London, then with Goldman Sachs & Co., first in 1987 in New York, then from 1988 to 1991 in London as Executive Director in the Global Finance area.


As founder and managing partner of Sannwald & Jaenecke GmbH, he led the firm from 1991 to 2006. This was one of the first German consultation companies in the area of Mergers & Acquisitions. His emphasis today is on the assumption of corporate governance functions as member of the supervisory board, board of directors, or advisory board.


Diploma 1974 in Cologne. From 1974 to 1976: military service and officer’s training  in the German Federal Armed Forces, with a final rank of Reserve Lieutenant. Studies in business management from 1976 to 1980 at the European Business School in Frankfurt, Paris and London. Diploma in business administration in 1980, specialising in corporate finance and business appraisal.
